Small World
So, I released my debut EP 'Small World' the night I played the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville Tennessee back in May, to a full crowd which was a real 'pinch yourself' moment! I felt my musical journey in this genre of Country and Americana had come full circle in a certain respect seeing as I was initially inspired by the TV show Nashville where the Bluebird venue was a weekly feature. And since that trip to Nashville in Spring 2017 the EP has had positive reviews and I recently put together a small UK tour to promote it. I've already started to plan the release of my next single 'Better Than Today' which will be released early November, it's a big step away from the laid back lap steel vibe of the Small World EP and is a move towards a more rocky, progressive sound of the Americana genre. I wanted to show the breadth of what Americana had to offer as well as an insight into my varied style of songwriting.
