Love Just Hurts
Single
Released on June 28th, ‘Love Just Hurts’ will be supported by a host of live shows including Buryfields Festival, Green Meadows Festival and The British Country Music Festival with Ward Thomas, as well as a headline show in London. It will be the first of a string of singles to be released from a forthcoming debut album that is eagerly awaited by fans and industry. Following the success of the last 2 singles, Jeannine and her band have played a raft of live shows across the country, including Black Deer Festival and Europe’s largest Country festival, Country2Country, at the O2 in London. Jeannine also recorded a special 'Under The Apple Tree' session for BBC Radio 2's Bob Harris. Jeannine said that she felt ready to take her music to the next level with a new sound with this latest release: “I wanted to make music without rushing it, and to create something that I could really feel proud of because of the way it was true to me and what I wanted to say. When Robert Leech, who wrote several songs on the Wandering Hearts album, contacted me to write after seeing us play at Country2Country we worked so well together that several of the songs we wrote ended up on the new release which will make up the first part of my debut album.” “Love Just Hurts is the first single to come out of that and it has been a magical experience overall, especially when Jim Kimball, who works with country legend Reba McEntire, got involved and offered to mix the track. I can’t wait to share the song with everyone.” “Her voice and talent are not only moving and honest but “Authentically Country”. It has been a while, since my days teaching Beyoncé Knowles actually, that I have been so excited about teaching a young performer.” - David Lee Brewer, Star Vocal Coach.
