Eye of the Beholder
30 Contemplations in Pen & Ink (PDF version)
Michael Stillwater is best known for his music, films, and creativity seminars, but another aspect of his creative expression is visual art- particularly pen and ink. From 1974 - 1977 he produced a series of line drawings, many of which became greeting cards and posters (GraceNotes). A story-coloring book, 'Windows of Nature', was published at this time as well.
In this edition, 'Eye of the Beholder', Stillwater shares a collection of thirty of his favorite illustrations from this period, created under the name of 'Maitreya', given him by Swami Satchidananda..
