Ian Lynn Palmer

Ian Lynn Palmer is a Singer Songwriter from Newport South Wales. Americana Country Folk with a hint of blues, yet always remaining a punk at heart. A self taught musician playing guitar, harmonica ,banjo, piano and ukulele; writing songs about his life experiences and observations; all led to Ian becoming noticed and he was nominated for Best Original Song and Best Male artist at the Love Live Music Awards 2017 . Taking his influences from Bruce Springsteen ,Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, Neil Young, Matt Johnson and even Nick Cave. In August 2017 he released his first Ep The Last Goodbye, which has been played on numerous radio stations to much acclaim. Ian has also appeared live in session on various shows including Newport City Radio and Radio Cardiff . In the short time Ian has been performing he has played with the likes of Jess Vincent ,Kenneth J Nash, Ags Connolly, Jon Langford ,The Rosellys, Wesley Randolph Eader, Matt Owens and MG Boulter. Ian has recently finished his second Ep "The Burning Flame Of Hope" , Released Dec 2020, and is looking forward to the future to expand in the field of gigging/festivals on a more national level.
