Founded in January 2017, New Moon offers music fans the chance to see the best up-and-coming acts from the UK, Europe, and often from around the globe.

Only £2.50 entry. Food served until 10pm. Doors open 7:30pm.

Line Up

Slightlykilld is a dynamic rock duo hailing from London, comprising Polina on vocals and lyrics, and Kirill on guitar and all other musical elements. Originally from Russia, they embarked on a journey to the UK by car, bringing with them all the essentials to deliver captivating performances. Their sound is a blend of melodic indie and alternative rock, offering profound reflections on personal identity and existential musings.

With a string of EPs to their name, Slightlykilld has made notable strides in the music scene, having opened for Garbage in Moscow and being shortlisted for the Truck Festival. They have also left their mark on iconic London venues like The Good Mixer, Fiddler's Elbow, and Dublin Castle. Their music not only resonates with raw emotion but also challenges conventional norms, making them a distinctive presence in the modern rock landscape.

Marianne Leigh, an indie-pop artist based in London, honed her craft during her formative years in New Zealand. Her songs, heartfelt and confessional, capture the highs and lows of young adulthood with a blend of pop, indie, rock, and alternative influences.

Fans of Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo, and Maisie Peters will connect with Marianne’s anthemic tunes and captivating vocals. Guided by mentors Jamie McDell and platinum artist Bic Runga, she has made notable appearances on New Zealand television.

After a successful headline tour in New Zealand, Marianne has returned to London’s vibrant music scene. Currently releasing a selection of her singles from her forthcoming EP, BBC Introducing picked up her May 2024 single, ‘ordinary’.

A longtime resident of London who is primarily a live music curator in London, New York and Los Angeles, embracing all music genres

Sam is equally at home writing songs, which reflects his personal experiences and that of people very close to him.

His songs have never been recorded in a studio environment, but occasionally he will pop up to perform a few live, in his peers/friends open mics and recordings of which, can be seen/heard on Sam’s Instagram account @sebcollective

However, this will be will be his first ever formal showcase and is honoured it will be at the Iconic Half Moon.

Aleks is a singer songwriter based in London, who 2 years ago decided to go full time with her music career.

Her voice is a throwback back to the likes of Janice Joplin meets Tina Turner, which gels well with her electrifying stage performances. Joining her is Thanos with his electrifying guitar playing, many call him a Led Zeppelin prodigy.

Later this year will see the release of Aleks’s debut EP & Single, so keep an eye out for that!
