Esprit D’Air reformed in June 2016 after a three-year hiatus, with guitarist Kai taking on the role of the vocals and guitar, Ellis on bass and Daishi on drums.

Their sound is unique and fresh, bringing together hard-hitting aggression with melodic interludes and blistering guitar solos. The band has received critical acclaim from their charismatic live shows in various countries, and their song ‘Shizuku’ was the first song in the J-rock genre to appear on the video game Rock Band 3.

The band is not seeking a major record label but instead, follow a strong DIY ethos and produce everything themselves to be as self-sufficient as possible. Consequently, they record, mix and master their own releases in their own home recording studio and produce the artwork themselves.

ChucktheMagpie is a singer-songwriter and researcher based in Hong Kong and Tokyo. She presented her first solo songs as 'Chuck*' in 'the SHOWROOM REAL LIVE supported by SonyMusic' (Mar. 2015) where she was awarded the grand prize.

Her first album, 'Johannes Factotum' (Sep. 2015) contains three songs that are dedicated to characters in Shakespeare’s plays: Ophelia, Lady Macbeth, and Lavinia. The idea of creating songs inspired by characters and stories has been developed in her on-going music project related to her research on Drama and Literature, and she wrote five songs inspired by Hamlet. In 2016, together with her 'alter ego,' Charlie, she performed part of the project in England several times. In May and July 2017, she is releasing the new songs with which she is touring around Europe in July. The songs are created by the magpie herself, Kocha Shoji (producer), and Sogo Akiyoshi (composer), and dedicated to Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, Mercutio, Edgar, and some other characters.

Imaginary Machete Swinger are a Japanese rock band that formed in Tokyo in 2017. It started as a workshop between a vocalist Charlie Shikazaki and a composer Sogo Akiyoshi towards the end of 2016 and developed into a music project. Kocha Shoji joined the project after he supported Charlie’s gig in February 2017 and suggested ‘Imaginary Machete Swinger’ as a band name. The band’s works are affected by progressive rock, romantic music, and Japanese anime songs. In the terms of the looks, they are heavily influenced by ‘visual kei,’ a Japanese music movement and subculture characterized by the artists’ heavy make-up and androgynous fashion style.

2016年3月13日東京渋谷のマウントレーニアホールにて初ライブ。 ボカロやアニソン曲を中心にカバーライブを行う。 6月ゴッドエンジンJr.(LINE TV、TOKYO MX)に定期的に出演を開始(同年10月番組終了)。 同月東名阪ツアー、7月英国ツアーを決行。 2017年5月バンド名義で初音源リリース予定。
