Fetherstone, in collaboration with London-based Kobalt Music-signed producer Harry Tarlton, presents 'All You Need to Be'’, the third instalment of her self-titled 4-track EP. Under the guise of Fetherstone, her new electronic-pop-folk infused persona, Australian songstress Briana Cowlishaw brings the tradition of the troubadour storyteller into the modern electronic pop genre through her innate passion for storytelling.

A note from Briana...

All You Need to Be is one of the most honest and raw songs I've ever written and reminds me WHY I make music. It came from one of those dark moments that swallow you whole and then spit you out the other side. We all spend so much time justifying who we are, why and if we are important in the world, but most importantly if who we are is ENOUGH, for other people and for ourselves. I would never question my best friends and beautiful family for all their crazy, imperfect quirks that make them unique and hilarious, but I don’t make that exception for myself and continue to dangerously critic myself. . . .

I wrote this song in about an hour, completely balling my eyes out, so hurt from my own self destruction and ready to heal. I feel like these lyrics that came out were aimed both at myself but also to all the beautiful people in my life who I want to remind how epically awesome they are.
