D.S.C has moved from a band who improvise music, started in 2011 by James Mac McPherson and Alex Jones, to a collective who still improvise with variable friends joining the core crew, made of Dali de Saint Paul (Vocals+ Effects), Harry Furniss (Cornet) Terry Owen (trombone and Computer) and Peter Bennett (Keys and all sort of machines). Usual friends to join are Dan Johnson (drums & percussion), Tom Bryant (bass+ Effects), Jesse Webb (guitar+effects) and a lot more of Bristolians.

The collective record their monthly performance at The Sound Cupboard, a night of curious and marginal music, the collective organised since 2013.
