Interview For The Classic Rock Society
Following Elaine's high profile Kindred Spirit Band gig at the fantastic A New Day Festival back in August 2017, where they went down extremely well with the large crowd of music fans, completely selling out of albums on the merch stall, they were spotted by one of the Classic Rock Society's reviewers, Laurence Todd, who said this about the Kindred Spirit Band,
The day began with Kindred Spirit, whose blending of some electrifying folk rock with a prog sensitivity, ensured the Spitfire stage got off to a good start. Reminiscent of early seventies band, Spirogyra, they gave us a few tracks from their latest album, Phoenix Rising, including the title track, Dragonfire and Wolves at the Gate, and they held the crowds attention with some quite delightful music all the way through their sadly all too short set, no mean feat for so early on a very sunny afternoon. Afterwards, guitarist and singer Elaine Samuels said they'd been impressed by the crowds response and had been very excited to play for music fans who seem to like us.
Interest in the Kindred Spirit Band has been growing, since their New Day Festival appearance and, Early in the New Year, Elaine is now going to be interviewed about the Kindred Spirit Band , by Laurence Todd, which is bound to help the them reach even more, new music fans!
