Dave Scott-Morgan, hit songwriter & former ELO guitarist (81-86), brings a joy-filled show featuring music of the Beatles, Buddy Holly, and ELO plus Dave’s own toe-tapping songs, humorous and nostalgic tales … set to his own backing videos. With lead guitarist Alex Lowe and wife Mandy on percussion, Dave laces the show with anecdotes from his autobiography Patterns in the Chaos (such as life in a world famous band, having a hit record or meeting musical legends). If you enjoy live rock/pop music and stories of the music business in 60s to 80s then join the journey with Dave Scott-Morgan! “Seeing this show is a must for Brumbeat fans and lovers of melody and harmony”.
Dave introduces Beatles, Buddy & Brumbeat Show
Good to hear the old songs as well as the new ones against a background of anecdotes and videos bringing back memories of the 60's, 70's and 80's. Neville Tuck
... energetic, musically on the money and rocknroll story telling fascinating. Loved the gig! Tom Crosby
..very entertaining, well informed and very nostalgic for those of us above a certain age! Dave, Mandy and Alex made an excellent job of the music - occasionally supplemented with a drum track - the sound was well mixed and the video backdrop well put together. Dave has a very relaxed and personal style on stage, with a bit of banter from his charming wife and his voice on top form. I would recommend anyone to go and see it, coming to a stage near you soon! Tim Constable I thoroughly enjoyed the whole gig. Especially loved the use of the projector during each number, I've never seen this done before it is certainly a unique touch. They all took the time to speak to people before during and afterwards which is normally unheard of. My only issue is it wasn't long enough! I could have listened to it all day long. If you get the chance don't miss seeing them! Rhi Hutchins
What a great surprise! This show exceeded my expectations. I thought I would just be listening to great music, but this was something else... this show had ALL the ingredients - music, nostalgia, anecdotes, humour (Mandy was so funny) and the right pace. I was mesmerised from the Golden Oldies through to Mr Blue Sky. Bring it on!!!!! When's the next one? Jayne Read
Wow! Really enjoyed the music, it sounded fabulous... A nice selection of songs, some of them I knew and some I didn't. Dave's stories intermingled with songs was a real treat and it made us laugh, go 'oh yes' and a bit of clapping along. I loved the learning the chords piece and the background riff with the story telling. A solid set of songs played so so well, get to hear some ELO but even better to witness some Dave Scott Morgan penned songs live also. If this gig comes to a place near you, don't miss it its great and you will have a jolly old time. Only one thing to add. it went by to quick :-) Dave Jones
I promise you - this was a gobsmacking epic performance of an inspired show rich in history and innovation, faithful to its roots yet modern and exciting in its promise for the future! Wootton Wawen - could have been Wembley!! Brian Todd
