Contrarians are a four-piece art-rock band from Leeds, known for their avant-garde and candid form of alternative music.

The band have attracted a growing fanbase from live shows and have supported the likes of The Sheepdogs and Black Tambourines. Contrarians have played extensively throughout the northern circuit and have become reputable for their dynamic performances.

2018 saw the release of the band’s debut single “Brand New”. The track gained traction in the rock scene and air-play on BBC Introducing.

In 2019 the band released their second single “Save My Mind”. Most notably, the single’s music video gained an enormous amount of attention for its bold style, which features band member Sol dancing in the streets of Leeds.
