Cody Feechan is a singer-songwriter from Fife, Scotland. Taking influences from all sorts of genres, Cody's music is probably best described as Alternative Rock with a touch of Pop. Cody has been noticed for her unique voice and subtle Scottish twang shining through in her songs.
Scottish DJ/Journalist Jim Gellatly included Cody in his 'New Music Column' in The Scottish Sun stating "She’s been on my radar since last year’s debut single Manhattan Sky". Cody is an unsigned artist who released her debut single 'Manhattan Sky' back in November 2018.
Her second release 'Stepping Stones' caught the eye of many people resulting in this track being played on radio stations across the world including Ireland, Japan as well as New York. Jim Gellatly states "Stepping Stones really brought out her voice. Cody’s husky vocals and Scots lilt are at the forefront of the moving ballad". Heard Not Herd named 'Stepping Stones' their track of the week when it was released in March 2019. Complimenting Cody's voice they stated "Her strong, sweet, sometimes husky voice is perfect for the wide variety of songs she has belted out over the past few years".
'Satisfaction' was released in September 2019 and was quickly named Single of the Week on RAPAL at BBC Radio Nan Gaidheal. Her latest track 'Better Days' was released in November 2019.
Over the last few years Cody has played at venues all over Fife, Edinburgh and Glasgow as well as performing on The Riverside Show on STV Glasgow. Most recently, Cody took to the stage to perform at the Kingdom FM Local Hero Awards Cermony 2019 where she also won the award for the 'Home Grown Talent' category. Cody has also recently played at top venues including King Tuts Wah Wah Hut as well as performing at The Barrowlands Ballroom. She has been the support act for many great artists such as Stevie McCrorie (winner of The Voice 2015), The Amazons, Tom Hingley (Inspiral Carpets) as well as Scottish folk legend Dick Gaughan. Over the summer Cody has played at numerous festivals including Gig in Goil Music Festival and Party at the Palace 2019.
