Aqualung

Apparently it's 2022 now. which means that 20 YEARS AGO I started making a quiet, wobbly little record in our hallway. And then, 20 YEARS AGO that record came out and it was called 'Aqualung' and had a wobbly little drawing of me on it because that's what it was.

So much has happened to us all since then. Maybe I'm a bit less wobbly. certainly a bit less little (ft. Jowls). BUT the template that we found all those years ago is still the basis of all the music i make, for me to sing or for other people to sing. Close up, true and candid but drifting in and out of focus, in and out of tune. because it's the rub and the ache and the tension and the yearning that fills the songs with life. OR WHATEVER.

THE MAIN THING IS that album and its technicolour sibling 'Still Life' never found their way onto vinyl..................................................................
