From wallflower to gen Z icon: the rising of Azahriah is the ultimate 21st century success story. Not only his first show at the Puskás Arena (capacity: 45.000) was sold out in a day, but he had to add two more nights to the schedule! This is totally unprecedent in Hungarian music history: no Hungarian musician ever could make a full house here before him.

Growing up with a mother being in the army (two missions in Kosovo) and a father who often works abroad, Azahriah was used to doing things on his own. So much so, he barely had any friends in elementary school. Getting fed up with always being the lonely one, at age 12 he started his YouTube channel, called Paul Street (named after Ferenc Molnar's famous novel, The Paul Street Boys), gaining more and more popularity with his mystery/paranormal themed stories. This was literally a life saver for him: when dropped out of high school for being bullied by one of his teachers, he really could use the positive vibes starting over everything in a new school.

After becoming one of Hungary's best known content creators, Azahriah decided to move forward and fulfill his singer-songwriter dreams. As his videos had nothing to do with music, this definitely could have been a burden – but not for him. He knew exactly what he was doing. Already a qualified guitar player (perks of being alone a lot as a child), he started to learn music making and sound engineering and recorded his first demos. Fun fact: he wrote his first lyrics at school in 2017, in English class, using rhyme.com to find the best rhymes. Boy, he learns quickly!

Status update: he's a multi-instrumentalist pop star who dominated one of Europe's biggest music festival's, Sziget Festival's main stage this summer. It took him less than two years to completely change the perception of Hungarian pop music – even the visualizers of his songs are instant TikTok trends.

Packed with wise lyrics and catchy tunes, Azahriah's songs are always edgy and never fail to serve the audience with surprising and entertaining inspirations from trap to reggae, oldschool Hungarian classics to the cutting edge styles and genres.

His songs with his BFF, Hungary's most streamed trap artist, DESH, are also extremely popular. Even the music critics are amused with the two's quirky, daring, nasty and heavy loaded beats.
