BIO

DESSIE is an experienced and successful songwriter, acoustic guitarist and vocalist, with many years experience performing at all kinds of events, sending guests into a foot-stomping frenzy.

With a husky, warm-toned voice, Irish-born DESSIE has an amazing likeable character which resonates through his performance. Your guests will be struggling to keep still as he storms through his catchy repertoire of pop and soul classics from the 80s up to today's charts plus traditional Irish songs.

As well as being a fantastic vocalist and guitarist, he is also a skilled songwriter and has an impressive resumé. This includes (but is not limited to) sharing the stage with Van Morrison, three BBC Introducing "Tracks of the Day", appearances at festivals like Glastonbury, Brighton and The Fringe, a USA tour and a UK headline tour with sold-out shows in London, Brighton and Ireland. If that's not a sure sign of a dedicated and hard-working musician, then we don't know what is!

DESSIE's performance consists of vocals, acoustic guitar and a stomp box - a recipe for feel-good music. However, if you're looking to turn up the heat on the dance floor, you can opt for another guitarist to join him.

DESSIE adds his own personal touch to well-known and well-loved songs. You can also request he performs another favourite song of yours live at your event, which he will happily do for a small additional fee.

All PA and sound equipment is provided within his standard package, plus background music for in between his sets to maintain the musical flow of your celebrations. You can upgrade this to a manned DJ service for an additional fee too.
